My artwork is about my great grandmother and grandfather in heaven seeing each other once again and holding hands with each other. It relates to Day of the Dead because my great grandfather passed away a long time ago and my great grandmother was sad to see him go and just two years after his death, my great grandmother passed away. Now they’re both in heaven once again and I figured I would make a sculpture of them in heaven holding hands. The medium of my project is a sculpture of a skeleton-like version of my great grandparents and they are made out of aluminum wire and copper wire.
