The visualization gives an overview of the birth regions of people married in 2015 in Italy.
The double spread page is divided into two symmetrical part, the left-hand side regards wifes while the right-hand side regards husbands.
The regions are shown clockwise based on the number of marriages and associated with "partner regions", that are three regions with which the highest number of marriages have been celebrated.
