I chose pink to explain the relationship between menstruation and teenage girls. Using mild colors, I tried to depict things threaten girls. This is why you can see scarlet water in the tub and red clouds in the sky. They all imply girls’ panic. Because of the insufficiency of sex education and a stigma attached to menstruation, period seems like a taboo. However, I truly wish that my audience could understand that menstruation is a female symbol, through which we feel our emotions, cherish our bodies and love ourselves.
