Shadow Wave Title Sequence
Brief:
Produce an opening title sequence for a movie. The movie should be a film adaptation of a publish book, which has not previously been adapted for film or T.V. Choice of book is up to you.
Requirements:
- 60 seconds (+/- 10 seconds) video
- Credit actors, directors etc.
-Draw viewers into mood of film.
- Source Appropriate music or sound effects
The book I chose to create a title sequence for is a Shadow Wave by Robert Muchamore. It is the twelfth and final book in the series of books called CHERUB. It is about children who are secret agents for MI5, as children would never be suspected.
I chose to film ink in water to represent the Tsunami that happens in the book. The ink represents the people lost and also adds a mysterious element making you wonder what is going to happen. The large letters eventually creating the title at the end are shadow like and mysterious also, just like the children being there but not obviously.
