Close Quarters
where home is a knees touch away
I used a "box" to limit my usability of space. The close parameters these individuals are forced to live in bring out hilariously exaggerated qualities to each character. We are all resigned to live in tight spaces as is the culture of living in ever congested NYC - unlikely neighbours in likely living situations.
I used ink to illustrate.
The long piece was printed as the cover/back + endpages of the SVA 2017 Illustration 38 Portfolio Publication.
