Twitter Word Cloud Data Visualization
At 221 Main St in San Francisco, ESI Design created a 126 foot-long, 25-foot wide, display that extends from the exterior facade to the interior lobby. The installation blends three different LED resolutions into a single display. The entire display is both a medium for content, a lighting surface and an architectural addition to the building.
Using a trending topic as the starting point, we pull related tweets and then display the most frequent words used in them. The trending topic becomes the title with the related group of words flowing around it, working together to create a story.
