Extension Card Restructure

Honey was looking to create a new grid structure within their product to have a stronger grid system to create a unified look across all cards.
Previous version of the card utilizing a vertical split, which creates a difficult user experience without hierarchy.
Utilizing a new grid system we we able to define various touch points within our cards to create a better user experience.
By using this grid system, it allowed us to create a card that could easily be split into two types. One which contained the lower third to house secondary information and/or promotional elements, and the top two thirds which house the primary product information.
The previous card within the experience were driven to showcase new features within the product and were taking away from the user experience. Users began to leave their current state to learn about the new feature, which was abandoning their current transaction.
The new cards are easily scaleable to accommodate different secondary information without taking too much interest away from the primary container of information. Thus keeping the user within their current state and continuing their transaction.
