from a famous realist romanian novel of the modernist period - Enigma Otiliei - a story of the people and society of the begining of the XXth century - I illustrated this while in Paris and couldn't help giving it a few touches of the french architecture that became my home for a year
the first sketches were designed for the book cover, since immersing in the story is first and foremost taking a step inside the house at number 10, Antim street, but eventually I decided to get into more detail with the textures and patterns and illustrated the two facades as posters, mixing up the description of the house with some elements I wanted to experiment with
