"The Cataract" Scene Design

Wouldn’t it be amazing if something completely unexpected happened right now? Like the forest just split in half and what was once up is now down? Or if a door opened up in the sky, which was now the floor being unearthed from the ground? If all the dirt that was unearthed became water?

The language is space and efficient, so should the design be. It is a sparse and elemental design setting an ethereal mood. The tall splintered wood suggest both the inside of a log cabin and the dense forest that might surround the house.  The pallet is grey and brown palette, within it pops of color emerge. This world exsists in a realm that is somewhere between dream world and waking life. It has a beautiful strangeness that sabotages an audiences expectations while poetically unearthing mysteries into our inner self.
