This was an Illustration IV assignment, where I had to illustrate a scene from the short story The Halloween House written and illustrated by Carol Moore. The scene mentions "a high ceiling, cold and gloomy, and shadows that run halfway up the walls" which inspired my take on it which features anthropomorphic shadows that creep on the character while she sleeps.
