Focused on finding new ways to change not only construction, but the world around us. With a focus on tools and accessory products, ending in a deep dive into soft goods. Not only is it to solve worker problems, but can easily be put into any consumers hands.
Construction and tradesmen do not have a tool belt that fits their real needs, with current toolbelts they lack the ability to control weight on their body, and also do a poor job at allowing the user to get into tight situations, causing their belongings to potentially dump out of the tool belt.
Currently on the market there is a lack of variation in toolbelts, due to the function not changing causing people to just learn to live with it.
I looked at different types of bags and explored the way that i wanted it to sit on the body and how many tool slots that it would have. I then focused on how the hidden strap location, and how would work with the feel of the bag. Finally deciding on a more traditional feel with more standard pockets, but with the ability to be changed out with ease.
The belt allows for the user to attach the bag to something near them in the workplace to help prevent unwanted wear and tear upon the user while on the job. Keeping that in mind the material choice went in so that the fabric would not catch on the swiveling mechanism.
The Swivel shifts the weight to allow for less fatigue, and help the worker to no lose tools and time while working.
