Pages Anthology 2015-16

Pages is an innovative multidisciplinary program that supports literacy and writing skills through the exploration of contemporary art, film, and performing arts. This free program pairs educators from the Wexner Center with high school teachers from across central Ohio in the planning of writing-based, experiential learning opportunities for students. Pages students then visit the center to experience gallery exhibitions, a performance, and a film and respond to those experiences in journal entries, prose, and poetry.
The Pages Anthology celebrates the hard work of youth participating in Pages, the center’s innovative literacy and writing program for Columbus-area high school students. The program culminates in an open mic reading by the year’s Pages students, who share the prose, poetry, and visual art they’ve created in response to cutting-edge exhibitions, films, and performances at the Wex. Their writing and art are commemorated in this limited-run publication that’s unveiled at the event.
