Brandcast, Germany’s biggest YouTube event, promised to be an extra-special event: In 2015, it celebrated the video platform’s 10th anniversary. To mark the occasion, Tempelhof Airport treated 500 invited guests to a media show, splashed across a
32 m wide LED wall.
50 min of motion graphic elements and media-based stage backdrops for all parts of the show, YouTuber presentations and music acts. The look was defined by a combination of bold watercolor/oil paint brushstrokes and hand-painted artworks to underscore the YouTube culture’s DIY spirit.
