Antilogy

The designs, the photography and the textile technique seek to merge two concepts: Contradictory as the sobriety of functionalism and the eccentricity of the artist Yayoi Kusama .  A feeling of contradiction, a fusion of opposites, an antilogy, made this collection possible.
The circle was the central element of this collection, which will be determined in the laser cutting technique to achieve a clean finish that allows the successive repetition of this geometric figure in different areas of the garments. Also the 3D and set design by the photographer and graphic designer to help the concept.
The silhouettes seek the structure proposed by functionalism, which becomes the protagonist to leave any type of residue.

The color contrast in the location was one of the most relevant aspects of the photoshoot.  Yellow was chosen so that the red garments stood out in the camera.  Color blocks and circles were arranged to create a visual balance that allowed the model to play in space, in addition to creating spatial depth with the false walls.  Colored light strobes, made the atmosphere possible in every composition.  The aim was to reflect a style that mixes the eccentricity of Yayoi Kusama and the sobriety of the architectural movement of Functionalism by using set design and 3D modeling composing in photoshop.
