International Amnesty & Spazuk
Tens of thousands of people throughout the world remain disappeared. Enforced disappearances are heinous crimes. Victims have the right to truth, justice, and reparation. Fire painter Spazuk joins Amnesty International in this campaign against enforced disappearances. His technique consists of using a wax candle as a brush. Spazuk uses his light to keep the disappeared alive.

3 years ago, 43 students who were attending a protest were attacked by authorities. Almost two years on, their whereabouts remain unknown. Amnesty International joins families’ associations to remember the disappeared and demand justice in the International Day of the Victims of Enforced Disappearances. So, we made a communication campaign for AI creating portraits that revealed their face using a unique technique.
