Design Friendship were approached by Metropolitan Spirits and Pretty Green to help create a new spirit brand, La Maison Fontaine an ultra premium artisan absinthe. Handcrafted amongst the beautiful Jura Mountains in Pontarlier France a place renowned for its absinthe history. Distilled in the oldest absinthe stills in the world, using the finest ingredients and locally grown natural herbs, including Pontarlier Grande Absinthe.
The challenge was to create a brand identity that reflected the strong traditions of absinthe and the Pontarlier region, whilst positioning the aesthetic towards a more luxurious and contemporary style. As well as crafting the brand mark, Design Friendship also designed and produced the brands packaging, printed collateral, photography and website.
