The 14July 1997 marked the United Kingdoms release of the ‘Creative IndustriesMapping Document,’ the first time a governing body had recognized The CreativeIndustry as a strong financial contributor to a countries GDP; a far cry fromthe cultural pre-conceptions.
Like astone in a pond, the events that followed this day substantially affected the wayinternational governments perceived creativity.
This isan exhibition proposal document of a space that will contain five fractaltypographic sculptures; each representing a city that is currently involved ina government endorsed creative ‘Cluster.’
Each step in the space resembles the passing of time; the select shapes willslowly converge, until finally revealing the city name. The anamorphic qualities of the exhibition transcend through theidentity.
