Bottleneck Gallery's "The Gang's All Here" Group Show
Opening November 16th ( Through December 7th ) at Brooklyn's Bottleneck Gallery, the show is thematically based around friendship, camaraderie, and the collective nature of folks in films, television shows, and literature. The two pieces that I contributed orient themselves around some unlikely friends.
The first piece comes from Jim Jarmusch's fablistic telling "Down By Law" where Jack, Zack, and Bob find themselves in prison for crimes they may or may not have committed. Clashing personalities lead to a strange respect, friendship, and understanding.
The second arrives from across the sea where the Dowager and her kinfolk arm wrestle in various manners and political choices lending themselves to heirs and hierarchy and whatnot. BBC's Masterpiece Classic "Downton Abbey"
