Labrynth Produced From Waste Material

Concept & Idea generation sketching

The origination of fun as a sense of entertainment has been through products readily available to man, one which can be perceived as organic and environmentally friendly in comparision to the sense of ‘fun’ which is commonly known today through the use of gaming, internet usage etc. This product attempts to perhaps bring users back to traditional roots, a product that would encourage people to get out into the open and divulge from the indoor computer generated gaming era we are currently in.

Here we have recreated the ‘labrynth’ game as a life size board game which challenges users to successfully manoeuvre a ball through a maze from one side of the table to the other, without letting the ball fall down through any hole before the last. It can be played single or multiplayer. It is mentally challenging and uses a variation of logical, analytical and patience skills while playing. Due to the potential of continually different and challenging games we believe it can provide hours endless fun.

The product aims to rekindle a sense of interaction through simple methods of fun and spark between individuals in a mind stimulating manner.

The product is built from recycled waste material - pallets, wood and waste mattresses - along with a few nails, hooks, and glue for added stability of course!
