Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga Behind The Scenes

Lenovo introduces its new IdeaPad Yoga with a live-action commercial entitled “The Pursuit” which was developed by Saatchi & Saatchi New York and shot by director Martin Campbell via Saville Productions with director of photography John Christian Rosenlund.

Martin Cambell directed “The Mask of Zorro”, “Vertical Limit”, “Green Lantern” and two James Bond films “GoldenEye” and “Casino Royale”. With his background in action, he was chosen to direct new Lenovo campaign. “The Pursuit” was shot in Ukraine and serviced by Ukrainian production company Radioaktive Film.

We have to say that Lenovo turned commercial into a masterpiece video art. According to the script, the main character deftly avoids the chase and makes breathtaking tricks, it’s all possible thanks to her most delicate in the world, convertible ultrabook– Lenovo Yoga.

Shooting lasted seven days in both the Ukrainian capital Kiev and the southern city Odessa. Ukraine fitted the brief perfectly because of its capital city modern look and sea port views in Odessa. Radioaktive film team is used to create scale projects whether in Ukraine or abroad but Lenovo appeared to be one of the most notable projects in 2012.

In Odessa the crew worked late at night because of the night scenes, so tones of light and other equipment were used.
