The idea for this assignment was to create a poster that fonts.com might be willing to use to sell the Bodoni typeface. I wrote a short introduction to Giambattista Bodoni and the typeface he created. Because Bodoni is Italian, I searched for colors in shades or tints  associated with Italy. Of the choices I came up with, the green background was best received in peer feedback. My instructor suggested the darker shade of green for the glyphs, which I think works well. The Q, s, and g are turned at the same angle. The margins at the top an bottom are equal and the right and left are equal except for the glyphs running off the page. I let the word BODONI run past the top and bottom margins so the design wouldn't look too square.
