F. Scott Fitzgerald is widely regarded as one of the most important writers of the 20th century. In contrast to his successful writing, his personal life was characterised by many difficulties and battles. His life was chaotic and heavily influenced by an abuse of alcohol.
Instead of designing and marketing each individual book I have focused on the life and characteristics of the author and presented these three books as one piece. The design is communicating predominantly through typography, where the different layers are creating a stressful and partially intoxicated atmosphere.
