“The castle of Auxonne was built immediately after the capture of Burgundy by King Louis XI in 1485. As part of a tourism and heritage development project, the city of Auxonne initiated the restoration of the site. The renewal of the small museum Bonaparte is the first step towards a larger revaluation of the site. Our mission included programming and evaluating the feasibility of restructuring the museum, monitoring operations and sites.” (Dangles Architectes)
