A narrative cookbook that appreciates and describes in detail the pride in southern cooking. Not only is southern cooking praised but also the true character of Kentucky is revealed. In order to bring out the true spirit of tradition I have used family photography of my grandparents living and cooking in Kentucky for many years. I have made the watercolor illustrations and patterns to reflect the style and attitude of the lifestyle.
