Following the series of research publication, this photobook is one out of a series of 3 photo books that were made to document memories of grief and loss.
The photographs were captured, raw and candid, over a period of 2 months, documenting the subject's grandfather's final journey of his life. The book was made from scratch, from the individual pages to the binding, using various materials that symbolizes the subject's story.
The book also showcases a collection of objects relating to the subject and her grandfather. Documenting the process of her sick grandfather, and using his belongings and close-related objects to create an intensely personal recollection of the memories she had with him.
