Tilted Tulip was inspired by decretive calligraphy. This typeface was inscribed to display integrity and harmony while exploring the use of thick and thin lines. Tilted Tulip incorporates the curved line structure presented in script writing at the same time as involving the use of thick, sharp straight lines, this adding an interesting contrast between the two widths of stroke styles.
