TAREKAH CULTURE
Tarekah Culture provides products made in Indonesia by skilled and experienced local artisans from Garut, who have long been known for their sincere artistic heritage as well as attention to detail and quality.

Challenge
Create an identity with a minimalist approach that represents the product and creates an attractive identity for consumers.

Concept
An identity system that emphasizes simplicity with a vision to elevate and liven up the brand's personality, creating a unique symbol that is easily recognizable as a leather craftsman.




The symmetrical letter T was very helpful in making this monogram, as was the letter C, which could adapt to the leather icon and the letter T. The original idea for this logo was a monogram of the letters T and C, but when I took a break from looking at some references, I thought of combining product elements into this logo with a black color that is suitable for someone who is strong, elegant and neutral.

Based on the research on many well-known fashion brands that use monograms and neutral colors as their identity, it is quite successful in having a positive impact on their target market, which is more or less the same as Tarekah Culture. The creative combination of the letters T and C to form the leather symbol is the best way to represent the product and the Tarekah Culture itself into a unique monogram.​​​​​​​
