A random little rest piece whilst I had free time in college that then turned into something, I started off with seeing a girl similar to this on Pintrest which inspired me to draw one myself, having successfully drawn a girl I decided and it's not enough and that id like there to be more on the screen so I added a hand (which I struggled a little with, and need practising more) which was holding a katana sword. it turned out pretty nicely and all looks the same and a certain style which I like about this test piece, after finishing that I decided to have a background. Since my work had been quiet sketchy and done from just looking at something I went with a background that is rather colourful yet sketchy and fitting with the girl I had drawn, the background almost compliments the black, white and the colour grey that have been used.

This is the same test piece as the one above however I put placed it from illustrator into photoshop and posterised it a little, then cut her face with the magi lasso tool and copied to make a new layer. I then turned it black and white, placed it on the left side of the screen also enlarging it, finally I added the "hard mix" effect to it and thats where I have left it because i was happy with it. you can tell the background is slightly different form the one above because of the posterisation effect, this image also looks rather smoother and not so sketchy like the first one.
