YAN YAN GENERAL MERCHANT
Is a general merchandise store or general dealer that carries a general line of merchandise. Last time well known as a village shop that is a rural or small town store in Ipoh town. Back to the old days merchants simply sold the item they could obtain and resell it. The store carries routine stock and obtains special order from wear house and at the same time they do supply stock to other shop that who order purchase from. It also known as wholesaler.
Yan Yan General Merchant opened since 1973. Back in the day’s the store started up as a family business. The Store started up as a very small general merchant store. As the business getting bigger and bigger. They reopen the store in the current store which in Ipoh Old Town in a bigger shop lot.
Meaning of Yan Yan is the direct translate of Cantonese word which is People. And for for Chinese is call "Ren Ren". The full meaning of Yan Yan General Merchant it mean “Everyone merchant shop”.
