We are four Digital Media Students from 'Hochschule Weingarten' in Germany.

lat. illustratio - Enlightenment. The central idea of our photography project depends on light and what effect it has on the final frame.

Hannes left ISO: 400 Focal length: refer to 35mm: 29mm Cover: f13 Exposure time: 1/60 seconds
Moritz right ISO: 400 Focal length: refer to 35mm: 55mm Cover: f5,6 Exposure time: 1/40 seconds

Shooting portraits of ourselves we wanted to make something individual for each one of us. Everybody was responsible for the settings, lighting and effect of his/her own portrait.

These photographs were taken in the studio in our school. The most difficult part was only moving the necessary body parts while keeping the body still.

For the next project, we filled up wineglasses with colored water. It was hard to hit the glass directly from above. Those pictures were also taken in the studio.

Exposure time: 2 seconds

We went to an underpass at night, to shoot some high contrasted photographs. The dark background, with all the sparkles and the glimpse light, shining on the model works quite well.
We used a glowing steel woll at the end of a swinging rope to get the final effect.

Another experiment we did, was to capture a falling light bulb. The most complicated part was to hit the trigger at the right time. This experiment also happened in the studio.
