SpellBound is a coffee roastery based in Medan, Indonesia. It comes with the new concept of coffee culture like its known, Spell and Bound.
" Spelled like a voodoo and Bound like a doll " basically the coffee is a spell and the taste is the bound.
The first concept of Design in this logo is based on its name, "S" for the Spell and "B" for the Bound, and then it comes with loop like a rope to bend an infinity, but it gaps on the edge as the glyph of an S, that is the way of coffee taste, the infinity is just a matter of time for the after taste of a coffee.
The first draft of the concept was hand drawing and a bit of silly doodle for the background which has no meaning at all. And so the final design was not really change that much from the first draft.
The final design is using the red color from PANTONE® 187C which fit the color of the red catura coffee berry.
The brand is not having the company font yet, and so the font on the preview is using Helvetica Neue.
