It was big fun being involved with The Monster Project 2017. What's The Monster Project? Elementary students draw monsters. Then artists from all over the world reimagine those monsters in their own unique styles. The project teaches children about the power of their imaginations and encourages them to pursue their creative potential. It shows them that their ideas are important and exposes them to the magic of art and collaboration. Valeria, a young artist in Indianapolis created the monster on the left. My version of Valeria's creation is on the right. It's oil paint on paper, 17"x22". It was big fun being involved with The Monster Project 2017. This is my contribution to the collaboration. Valeria, a young artist in Indianapolis created the monster pictured below on the left. My version of Valeria's creation is on the right. It's oil paint on paper, 17"x22". Check out the entire 2017 Monster Project of 100 new monsters: https://themonsterproject.org/monster-gallery/
