Valenzuela City is a known major economic and industrial center of the Philippines. It has been steadily growing and improving into a highly-urbanized metropolis. And although the services in the city is great, Valenzuela still lacks facilities that could improve the lifestyle of the people, especially the youth.

The designer focused on providing adequate recreational and vocational opportunities to the youth as well as the much-needed “placemaking” or giving them a sense of place within their city.

Project Bibo (bi-bo; active) aims to further boost the current lifestyle of the young people. It will provide a place where architecture meets the current trends and urban youth culture. Project Bibo will provide a space for the students and youth organizations to carry out their activities to develop the Filipino youth into responsible, pro-active and productive members of society.
