FRETUDY is a series of furniture which is made of a bookshelf, a desk, a tatami, and a light. I extract elements from traditional chinese furniture of Ming Dynasty, use these elements into the design of modern furniture. But I simplify the complicated form of Ming Dynasty Furniture,to make the bookcase more suitable for modern life. 

And the desk is very simple without any decoration,The height of it is based on many experimentsso that it could be suitable for people’s stature. The outline of the desk comes from the Flet.

The devision of the bookshelf based on the rules of cruio shelf which is one of the Ming Dynasty Furniture.

The bookcase, the desk and the tatami are all made by white pine.

The lamp-chimney is made by waterwave paper,it is one of rice paper which is used for writing and drawing by ancient chinese.

People could see the lines of the paper clearly when the lights is open. It is very beautiful and the outline of the light comes from ancient palace lantern which is a kind of light used by king in ancient china.
