A collaborative project between me and my friend Helio Hespanhol who was responsible for all the 3d modeling. I was responsible for texturing, lighting and rendering.

Based on the Randy Bishop´s awesome concept.
The first thing i did was to lock the camera and create a simple 3 point lighting setup. The idea was to find the mood right from the start.
The next step was to create a gray shader with no reflections on it so i could build up from it. Then i slowly added detail, from simple color to texture, but never had to change the mood or light that was previously setup
I used multiple RGB masks in post production to color correct specific elements of the image. The other passes were used with photoshop blending modes to add more detail. Also used a vray extra texture on top of everything to add more texture.
