Moon Stargazer has been foraging for food, for the wounded Penguins and tried to find a vantage point to signal for help. She stumbled upon the small pack of beasts that attacked them and tried to sneak past it to reach a lake.
She almost made it but she stepped on a small frog-like creature’s tail and its cry of pain woke the beasts. Moon Stargazer had never ran so fast in her life.
She reached a fissure on the ground and used her pole to vault over it. The beasts were barely able to stop but some crashed into each other and fell. She now had to put more distance between them. She reached into her backpack for the camouflage salve to apply it on the run.
Something she should have done before departing... rookie mistake...
