One of the major advantages that Best Buy has over online competition is the ability for customers to pick up and shop for items locally. To leverage this, the idea of a 'Pick Up Today' option was created. Customers would then be able to view items that are available in their local area immediately, while browsing Best Buy's website.

As UX Architect on this project, my responsibility was to document the various conditions and options that users would be faced with. Working with business owners, I created an overview page that captured the functionality of this new feature.

After functionality had been established, my team worked with Best Buy's research team to conduct quick studies to gauge customer reaction. For this study, I created a high-fidelity prototype that allowed customers to interact with the page, and helped us understand how 'discoverable' this feature was.
