A quick logo concept made for a friend's ceramic shop. Even though we talked about the rustic nature of pottery and clay, we eventually went towards a more refined and modern logo idea in the end. It brought out the more sophisticated and timeless nature of pottery and put it in a more museum-like context. The logo was also designed with a pottery "signature stamp" (traditionally placed at the bottom of the piece identifying the potter) in mind as well and how that would translate to an engraved 1" x 1" square.
