To celebrate the Kandinsky Trio's 25th Anniversary Season, we decided to turn them into an exquisitely crafted commemorative figurine from the Cleveland Mint. Thankfully, the three musicians [all brilliant artists] have keen senses of humor and were game from the start. Photographer Amy Nance-Pearman shot the trio. The rest is Illustrator and Photoshop.

Another way to mark the Trio's 25th was to use their profiles to create commemorative coins, each with a slogan. Liz Bachelder's is Latin for "Everyone's a comedian."  Alan Weinstein's is Yiddish for "For this I went to college?" And Benedict Goodfriend's is English for "I wish I spoke Latin."
