Title: Redefine Magazine Cover

This is a magazine idea that I came up with. It is called redefine and every issue takes social expectations of a particular subject and provides a whole new outlook on it. This bridal edition is therefore "Redefining the Pakistani Bride" who according to social pressures is required to be the embodiment of all feminine characteristics. This image and hypothetically this issue is therefore portraying her as the complete opposite- going for a grunge look with chunky jewelry and dark makeup.

Title: Suicidal (Social Impact Project, Self-assigned)

Flowers generally represent life, which for a suicidal person is directly correlated with hope. In this case however, with the use of fake flowers I tried to represent the illusion of life where there is no hope for any. The use of a font that is barely visible over the light background to spell out the word 'hope' is a technique I exploited to show that when somebody is in such a distraught state of mind that they see no reason to live, hope is something they fail to see.
This was designed to be cut out and pasted on a stick to be used as a prop in photographs at a birthday party.
