The works were created to represent the qualities of time and space in two areas of the same building: the main floor, characterized by glass, light, concrete, and steel, and the basement, characterized by quietness, soft carpet, wood, and shadows. The way in which people circulated the spaces was also considered: the main floor being free and ascending upwards via the grand staircase, and the basement in which the circulation was more direct and descending.
