The alternative packaging that I have proposed for packaged spices, consists of two boxes. The inner box can be pulled down and the consumer can easily pour the mixture from the opening on the side of the inner box, that is later covered when the box is closed with the help of the string. 

Also, during my user survey, I realized that a lot of people keep these boxes in the refrigerator and they feel that it is compulsory to do so to avoid moisture. But actually, while I was doing my research for this project, turns out that it is not necessary to keep these boxes in the refrigerator. So, by introducing a hanging mechanism, I have tried to break the consumer behavior pattern and come up with a fresh design.

During my market survey, I noticed that the local vendors keep the powdered spices on a plate in a heap, in the open. So, the cut on the outer layer of the packaging is inspired from that.
