Meshuggah is one of my favorite bands and it changed what I considered to be weird music when I first heard them back in 1998. During the years, I watched them play a few times and I always excited to do it again. The opportunity came to me in November 2016, when they played another concert here in Berlin. This time, they were bringing High on Fire as well. The concert was as amazing as I thought it would be and the images below are part of the poster I designed for it.

The idea was to go with a traditional skull design with some weird colors. But everything changed after I made a mistake with some proportions and decided to stretch the skull a little bit more. With this happening, I added some eyes there and the drawing became interesting to me. 

I also tried some dirty brush lettering and the result can be seen below.
