I created this logo in Adobe Illustrator. The tools I used were type, image trace, clipping mask, direct selection tool to edit the letters, shape, and gradients. The design elements I used were alignment, balance (asymmetry), and shape. I used these to create a logo that would stand out in the energy drink aisle. I pictured this logo being easily stamped onto a product line of energy drinks. The layering is used to make the skull stand out. Emphasizing this will be beneficial to creating a memorable interaction with the logo. You as the consumer will be able to recognize this logo instantly when exposed to it in the marketplace. I used blue and yellow as my colors because bright yellow is energetic and creates awareness. Bright blue represents an exhilarating and electric depiction of energy.
