One of my passions is combining my love of design with my love for in many forms music- finding new music, creating mixes, DJing, and throwing events.

First up is cover art for a mix I'm working on.  Recently, I've been digging into a lot of 80s synth-pop from Japan, Italy and other countries. Currently my working title is "Even The Nights Are Better," in reference to the Air Supply track by the same name.

I wanted to take a fairly well-known 80s song and see what happened when I put it into a different context- specifically, what happens when I take a familiar title and use it for a genre of music that has a completely different vibe and sound. I'm using an 80s style look for my images to see how well the look and feel translates to the vibe of the music. I'm also keeping all the artwork in vector form, using only Illustrator's effects and transparency settings for lighting and texture.
