MTV Base
A mass collaboration of creativity between production, animation and design. MTV Base needed a new look to stay relevant within African culture, and what better way to bring African cultures together than with patterns? We created patterns for African cultures, ranging from Lesotho all the way to Swahili, each pattern representing an African country and culture. We then paired it with edgy photography using normal African citizens - not models. This then got tied together with a kaleidoscope animation effect, which we then coined "African kaleidoscope"
This project also won our Team a Bronze Loerie award.
