This is a project I worked on to design a library of UI icons. I wanted them to be clear and communicative but also playful. I made the icons in monochrome as an initial set, but them began adding pops of colour and converted some of the designs into gifs to assess their versatility. The set contains a combination of standard UI icons which should (hopefully) be recognisable as well as some non-standard ones which could be open to interpretation or refined to describe application specific functionality. The purpose of this project was really just to try things out so it’s something that might change and grow into the future.
