12th Creative Writing Workshop 

The Varsitarian’s Creative Writing Workshop, formerly called the Fiction Workshop, is an annual seminar-fellowship revolving around some of the country’s leading figures in the literary scene along with a pool of fellow consisting some of the most talented Thomasian student-writers.

Students of the University may submit their original works in any of the following categories: Fiction, Poetry, Katha and Tula. The three-day workshop involves around extensive discussions on the writers’ pieces.
Ika-32 Gawad Ustetika
Taunang parangal pampanitikan 

The Gawad Ustetika is the longest-running literary derby in the country, exclusive to budding Thomasian writers and their pieces. The competition is open in various categories such as Poetry, Fiction, Essay, One-Act Play, and Short Story for Children, with an award most likely becoming a gateway to several other literary awards and recognitions.

39th Pautakan

The Varsitarian's Pautakan is the longest running intercollegiate quiz bee in the country where representatives of different colleges battle in a test of wits and prove their supremacy in different fields ranging from history to the sciences.
