as I breathe,
as though the woods were marrow of my bone
as though
I myself were tree, a breathing, reaching
arc of the larger canopy
beside a brook bubbling to foam
like the one
deep in these woods,
that calls
that whispers home

Diara is the character design for a movie based on folk tales and legends of Ireland. The role of the character in the mystic Faerie world is to keep the balance on a certain territory of her own forest which includes taking care of animals, plants, seasonal change. periodic droughts and floods e t.c. her owl-like face is designed to show the symbolic wisdom that she possesses, the flowers blossom under her feet,her flute brings harmony and peace making the worst enemies come together and collaborate on forest protection and her heart can fly out of her chest as a white light spirit bird. Naughty, whimsical,haunting, luring, fragile,deep, wise and furious in the time of disorder she is a very multidimensional and hard to get a hold of character.
