Harmony - هارموني - Arabic Jewelry

Harmony
An interactive jewelry pieces design, consists of two parts; one is constant (illustrations or typo- graphic composition design), the other is moving (stones). The constant part has a track designed for the stone to move on it.
The concept emerged from harmony in music, the process by which the composition of individ- ual sounds, or superpositions of sounds.

Impact
Behind each of Harmony’s jewelry pieces are extremely talented artisans. Slowing down the pace of today’s fast fashion and mass-produc- tion, to work with an artisan who masterfully and carefully crafts each piece one by one has
a great value to the resulting product. In the same sense it creates an opportunity for local artisanal communities to widen their market and customer-base through design.
As our customer, you can now know where your products are made and who makes them. You have high quality products that are one
of a kind. You are empowering the artisans and their communities nancially and socially. You are helping sustain cultural heritage and tradition.

The Design for Impact Exhibition features a selection of co-created products. Each one of them highlights a unique craft that revives traditional production methods through a human-centred design process. From furni- ture to fashion, tableware to jewelry, lighting units to laptop sleeves, the exhibition brings you a variety of products made with impact in mind.

Design for Impact is the result of a collaboration between the British Council Jordan and the GIZ Responsible and Inclusive Business Hub MENA.
